Day 1: Hotel Stay - Chattanooga, TN
Enjoy a one-night luxury hotel stay in Chattanooga before boarding the American Queen Steamboat the following day.

Day 2: Embark - Chattanooga, TN
Embark the American Queen Steamboat and kick off the start of the journey with a festive Welcome Aboard Dinner.

Day 3: Decatur, AL
Board the deluxe hop on-hop-off steamcoach and explore the Carnegie Visual Arts Center, which features visual art from every medium, and the Old State Bank Building, built over 170 years ago, which stands as a reminder of Decatur's rich history. Other Decatur highlights include the North Alabama Birding Trail, the Carnegie Visual Arts Center, the Princess Theatre Center for the Performing Arts, Riverwalk Marina, Wheeler Wildlife Refuge, two historic districts, and unique shopping and dining experiences. Be sure to visit the family-friendly St. John's Episcopal Church and the Blue and Gray Museum for a collection of firearms, swords, and other Civil War artifacts.

Day 4: Florence, AL
Uncover the historic landmarks of Florence, starting from the town's oldest structure, Pope's Tavern Museum, which has been used as a stagecoach stop, tavern, and inn, and hospital for both Confederate and Union forces during Civil War. From there, explore the Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts, Frank Lloyd Wright Rosenbaum House, the highest platform mount in the Tennessee Valley region, the Florence Indian Mound & Museum, and the modest cabin of the "Father of the Blues," William Christopher Handy, that exhibits a large collection of his personal papers, memorabilia, and artifacts.

Day 5: Savannah, TN
Trace the story of Corinth in the Civil War from secession through reconstruction at the Shiloh National Military Park, which displays interactive interpretive exhibits, stunning bronze work, and two state-of-the-art films on Shiloh and Corinth. Be sure to make a stop at the Shiloh Indian Mounds, a National Historic Landmark, and the national cemetery within the park, the last resting place to 4,000 soldiers and their family members.

Day 6: River Cruising
Enjoy onboard activities and refined dining aboard the American Queen while taking in the panoramic views of America's great landscape.

Day 7: Paducah, KY
Known as the city of art, rhythm, and rivers, Paducah is a lovely city boasting 19th century architecture, specialty shops, and one-of-a-kind eateries. Once aboard the hop on-hop off deluxe Steamcoach, guests will stop at various cultural and historic attractions, many dedicated to preserving the heritage of the river, railroad and highlights of western Kentucky role in the War Between the States. Tour stops include the National Quilt Museum, the River Discovery Center, Paducah Railroad Museum, Paducah Civil War, and William Clark Market House Museum, which narrates the history of Paducah’s growth.

Day 8: New Madrid, MO
Relive the battle and siege of New Madrid through the eyes of local soldiers with a visit and presentation at the Hunter-Dawson Historic Site. With the hop on-hop off deluxe steamcoach, explore the new 120-foot New Madrid Observation Deck and view the 20-mile-long Bessie Bend at the. Next, enjoy shopping downtown and experience how the culture is reflected in this ever changing river town from the Mississippian Indian period at the New Madrid Historical Museum. The tour also include stops to Veteran’s Park, the New Madrid County Courthouse, the cypress-framed antebellum mansion of the Hunter-Dawson State Historical Society, and the oldest house in New Madrid, the Hart-Stepp House Art Gallery.

Day 9: Disembark - Memphis, TN
After breakfast, disembark the American Queen Steamboat and begin the journey home, or contine the adventure and explore the exciting offerings of Music City.
