Itinerary

Day 1: Hotel Stay - Cincinnati, OH
Enjoy a one-night luxury hotel stay in Cincinnati.

Day 2: Cincinnati, OH | Departure 5:00 p.m.
Enjoy all Cincinnati has to offer before departing on the American Queen in the afternoon

Day 3: Louisville, KY
Since its frontier founding at the time of the American Revolution, Louisville has always been a cultural hub, balancing a sense of history with an ability to re-invent itself as the city of originals. Tour sights include Louisville’s Visitor Center, boxing cultural attraction Muhammad Ali Center, Kentucky Museum of Arts and Crafts, the Louisville Slugger Bat Factory, and the Frazier International Military Museum.

Day 4: Brandenburg, KY
Explore the town of Brandenburg and tour the U.S. Army’s Patton Museum of Leadership.

Day 5: Henderson, KY
Henderson exhibits the best qualities of an historic southern river town: a flourishing community, thriving downtown, historic turn-of-the-century mansions overlooking the river, and a recently renovated riverfront. Home to famed naturalist John James Audubon, the town celebrates his famous bird paintings with eight bronze bird statues throughout the city.

Day 6: Paducah, KY
Known as the city of art, rhythm, and rivers, Paducah is a lovely city boasting 19th century architecture, specialty shops, and one-of-a-kind eateries. Tour stops include the National Quilt Museum, the River Discovery Center, Paducah Railroad Museum, Paducah Civil War, and William Clark Market House Museum, which narrates the history of Paducah’s growth.

Day 7: Cape Girardeau, MO
Cover the Cape Girardeau's history with a tour of the city, including stops to the Riverfront Murals, Red House Interpretive Center, Old St. Vincent's Church, Glenn House, and Red House Interpretive Center. The tour will also explore the River Campus of Southeast Missouri State University, Old Bridge Overlook and Park, the Crisp Museum, and the Cape River Heritage Museum, where guests can pick up brochures for information or souvenirs.

Day 8: River Cruising
Relax and take in the view of the river or join in a variety of onboard activities while the American Queen glides through beautiful American landscape.

Day 9: Disembark - St. Louis, MO
After breakfast, the iconic St. Louis’ Gateway Arch marks the end of the journey.
