Meade County Civil War Days Brandenburg, KY Join us for the 149th anniversary of Gen. John Hunt Morgan’s Great Raid. Camps and battles take place along the scenic banks of the Ohio River in Brandenburg, KY. There will be a raid on Main Street on Saturday and battles both Saturday and Sunday. The 52nd Regimental String Band will play a camp dance Saturday night and various scenarios will take place both days. Reenactors will be given a dinner on Saturday evening and a breakfast on Sunday morning. Bounties of still available for union infantry and cavalry ($10 for infantry and $20 for cavalry---must participate in both battles).
