 The 70 guestrooms of the Ashland Springs Hotel emphasize the natural inspirations of the original Lithia Hotel. Oversized windows present valley and town views and an interior palette of apricot, melon and pear create a mood of restfulness. Eclectic custom furniture painted in the colors of Araucana eggs, lampshades made from natural cotton rag paper with chlorophyll imprints of leaves, and 19th century pressed and framed French herbs reemphasize the hotel's naturalist theme. Brown cotton ticking and pistachio linen cover the chairs and drape the windows. Crisp white linens, goose down blankets and french-style botanical toile quilts adorn the beds, exuding a sense of eased luxury.
Amenities include a lavender tea bath sachet discreetly left on guests bed pillows as a gift. "Do-not-disturb" signs have been created with a bird and a single word "Nesting" (privacy please) message. On special occasions vintage cards and holiday greetings are created especially for the guests and clipped onto the doors under lovely victorian brass hand-clips.
