Graham Brown was forced to default on his loan during the Great Depression, the intensely loyal staff continued to work without pay. The famous “Hot Brown” sandwich was invented in 1926 for guests who were hungry after an evening of dancing. It has been featured on the TODAY Show, in the Wall Street Journal and numerous food and dining magazine.
