The centerpiece of the Inn at Stonepine, Chateau Noel, the former manor house of the Crocker Banking Family, was renamed in the 1980s by Gordon and Noel Hentschel as part of their renovation of the entire estate. This magnificent Mediterranean-style villa is surrounded by twelve formal gardens, a four-hole practice golf course complete with waterfalls, and a Provence-inspired reflection pond gracing its oak lawns at the gated entrance. Four additional houses and cottages throughout the estate grounds are also available for rental or for special events, corporate meetings and weddings. The Inn at Stonepine in Carmel Valley is twenty-five minutes from Monterey Airport with frequent flights from San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Denver and Las Vegas. Complimentary transportation by Rolls Royce limousine is available from the airport to the estate. Helicopter landing can also be made available on the back lawn.

Formerly named the "Double H Ranch", this estate was once considered the foremost thoroughbred breeding farm west of the Mississippi.
