Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel
   Chicago, Illinois

Just off Chicago’s famed “Magnificent Mile,” the Gold Coast setting of the Millennium Knickerbocker is the best location for shopping and business.  Built in 1927, the 14-story hotel was originally known as the Davis Hotel in honor of its general manager.  The magnificently gilded Crystal Ballroom, with its graceful balcony, has been the setting for many prominent gatherings, political conventions, business meetings, dinner dances and weddings throughout the years.  A multi-million dollar renovation in 2001 enhanced many of the hotel’s historic features and the guest rooms were refurbished in a stylish mix of classic Chicago design and modern conveniences.

Richard Nixon stayed here during the 1952 Republican National Convention, where he was unexpectedly nominated for Vice President.
