Phoenix Park Hotel
   Washington, District of Columbia

On Capitol Hill, a patch of Irish green is found at the Phoenix Park Hotel, a handsome Georgian Revival-style hotel built in 1922.  The hotel is equally popular with politicians, diplomats, business travelers and tourists.  The Phoenix Park maintains an Old World ambiance with its Waterford crystal chandeliers, rich woodwork, Celtic rugs and European antiques.  The comfortably furnished guest rooms feature period decor and Irish linens, as well as contemporary amenities and high-tech conveniences. The popular Dubliner Restaurant and Pub is a prime venue for evening entertainment and is part of the reason why the Phoenix Park is the center of Irish hospitality in Washington.

Originally known as The Commodore, the hotel was renamed in honor of Dublin Ireland's 1,760-acre Phoenix Park.
