1886 Crescent Hotel & Spa

Dining
The Victorian-style Crystal Dining Room serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and Eureka's grandest Sunday Champagne brunch--accompanied by live entertainment. Chef Stauffer heads up the kitchen with a vast knowledge of culinary preparation, catering excellence and plate presentation. Four-course dinners composed of rarefied American favorites like Marinated Grilled Texan Quail and Pecan Encrusted Salmon are the norm, and are complimented by confident Italian and traditional dishes. Apple Croustade is is one of a wide array of dessert options. Special childrens' menus round out the experience at the Crystal Dining Room.
Light fare can be found at Dr. Baker's Lounge, along with the requisite cocktails, intoxicating views of the surrounding Ozarks and live weekend entertainment. The lounge, named after the "crazy" doctor who ran the property when it was a hospital back in the late '30s, reflects his passion for art deco adornment.
Offsite Dining
More than 50 restaurants and lounges are scattered throughout Eureka Springs, but try the Balcony Bar and Restaurant first, located in the Crescent's sister property, the Basin Park Hotel, which also hosts the more laid-back Eureka Coffee Company serving Starbucks coffee. Further afield there's DeVito's Italian Restaurant, Sparky's, Bavarian Inn and Mud Street Cafe. For some local flavor, Oasis, Sonny's Pizza, Basin Block Cafe, Rogue's Manor, the Lumberyard and Shaw's Tavern will give you a glimpse into the real Eureka Springs.
