    Pamper yourself with a stay at this beautifully appointed hotel. Great location with a lot of great restaurants near by. Yes, it is pricey but definitely worth every penny. It will be a memorable experience for you and your family.

  • Historic hotel with a lot of character!

    Staff is exceptional! Always friendly and gracious. There are great dining options. There is no need to leave the property during your stay. Restaurants range from fine dining to pub grub. Have a classic or a
    contemporary cocktail in the lounge. Small plates and desserts also available in the lounge. There is a large convenience store on site for daily
    provisions or forgotten toiletries.

    Here for a conference. Great welcome by front desk staff, but downhill from there. The death of a good experience due to a thousand tiny issues: the request for extra clothes hangers that took one hour and two phone calls to deliver. The excellent sound carriage from room to room (just listened to couple doing it next door, and now can hear them peeing. Am not exaggerating. 7th floor, 740 row). The tiny bathrooms in old tower. The lack of a comfortable chair or chaise. The confusing, frustrating floor plan. The request for an umbrella on a rainy day where the response was "we don't have any, but you can buy one in the gift shop". The fraternity atmosphere among guests (drunk guests with drinks in hand traveling from floor to floor). And let's not forget the thin but pathetic veneer of Hilton Honors service, which involved me the HH member having to ask the receptionist for a free bottle of water because she couldn't be bothered to offer it herself. Never coming back.

You'll be happy to hear that we will soon be undergoing a renovation in the Pantlind portion of the hotel which would also address some of the issues you referenced. We apologize that other guests of the hotel seem to have been disruptive to your stay and encourage anyone staying with us to please let our staff know of disturbances so they can address the situation.   • Nice upgrades

    In town for the food, wine and beer show the location was great. We could walk to the DeVos Center without going outside. The room had great views of the city and river. The blinds were electronic control and extra plugs for charging phones and such. Bed was comfortable and clean. Plus, great chocolate with turn down service.

    Excellent property nice location great restaurants and very serviceable staff will definitely recommend this hotel.. I love the gym facilities and the jacuzzi..walking distance to main restaurants stores
