Dining

In Country House style, your reservation begins with hors d’oeuvres served in the Drawing Rooms or in the formal gardens in warmer months. Shortly thereafter, you are seated at your table in the Smokehouse Restaurant where you will enjoy a leisurely six-course fine dining experience prepared by Executive Chef Michael Gettier. Chef Gettier plans the dinner menu on a daily basis and looks for the freshest ingredients for each season. To complement your dinner you may choose from Antrim’s award-winning wine list with more than 1,500 selections.

Many guests from Baltimore know Executive Chef Michael Gettier from dining at his previous restaurants. Trained at Ecole de Cuisine LaVarenne in Paris in 1983, he worked in restaurants in Paris and Italy throughout the 1980s. In 1990 Chef Gettier was recognized as one of the leading hotel chefs in America by the James Beard Society and was the first Maryland chef to be invited to cook at the James Beard House in New York.

The Pickwick Pub offers drinks and a large selection of fine cigars; an extensive wine list offers more than 1,500 selections. The pub is known for its extraordinary collection of more than 50 single malt scotches.
