The Traphagen Restaurant offers traditional American fare in a charmingly authentic atmosphere. Dark wood trim, a massive brick fireplace and wideplank floors transport diners back in time. The front section of the restaurant also offers a light and airy greenhouse setting offering a stunning view of the heart of Rhinebeck. Lunch and dinner are served daily with Sunday brunch a very popular event. Several separate dining rooms are also offered on the premises. Complimentary continental breakfast is served daily to guests.

A number of fine restaurants are located within a few minutes of the inn. The Culinary Institute of America is eight miles away in nearby Hyde Park.
