  • Horrible Executive Lounge

    This hotel had the worst "Executive Lounge" I've ever experience. Do not pay the extra money for this service. Apparently everyone has access to this lounge. The door was always open so anybody could just walk in. Also, this was located in the lobby which is strange. There were never enough seats, which never happens. The bar service was "On Your Honor" type of system. You fill your glass with beer or wine and write down on a form what you had. Oh, this is only available for 2 hours. This room is a paid privilege, not a right. It felt like this room was simply a participation award, so it didn't feel special to have access to it. My fiance and I did not work this hard in life to have the same access to this room as everyone else.

  • Clean, spacious rooms, but lacking sufficient essentials

    Clean, spacious rooms with capable friendly staff, but possibly need to ensure quality control for essentials (insufficient TP, soap and lack of phone service to reach front desk to request). I took the elevator down to speak with the front desk directly and housekeeping was in the hallway for the bathroom essentials we ran out of (only 1 roll tp.

  • Great location. Nice concierge lounge.

    Have stayed here before and this stay was very pleasant and uneventful. Staff helped make sure I got access to wifi. AV staff helped find a lavaliere microphone for my presentation. Breakfast in their gold lounge includes eggs and fresh fruit. But they moved out the fantastic cappuccino maker they used to have in there. Hope it is only out for repairs and will return.

  • Hotel Stay

    Make sure you understand what type of room you are getting. Pictures on the web may not be as it is in reality. Other than that I would highly recommend this hotel and it's location is very good and very close to the White House. You can walk to most everything if you're in good shape and providing it's not humid. Uber is the way to go to visit the Washington Monument.

  • Amazing Experience!

    So my bff from Canada visited me in NY and we've decided last minute to go to Washington DC over the weekend. We took the bus fr NY to DC-we got to the hotel quite early but the lovely concierge personnel accommodated us with all smile! Frank Poku and Shen Posuka made us feel at home from the very moment we spoke to them. They were very nice and fun to converse with. not the typical stiff conversation you have while checking in in a hotel. Since its our 1st time in DC they recommended places to see, the location by the way is brilliant! couple of blocks away from the White House etc. and close to subway stations :) The following morning for breakfast we were assisted immediately. Our server was a 70yr old lady from the Philippines - but she looks very young and very active! She took good care of us, in a mom/grandma kinda way, she served us with love :) And oh by the way, the room was perfect! we didnt have a view view but over all we are highly satisfied with our experience with Capital Hilton. We shall be back!
