  • Lovely, Quaint, Charming

    by Hung V on 2017-12-12 02:15 pm

I really enjoyed my stayed at the Casa Faena. The hotel is small but full of character and charm. After entering the hotel it opens up into a central sitting area surrounded by books. The check-in was easy, the concierge greeted us with a class of champagne.

The rooms: The rooms are spacious and clean. The sink was outside of the bathroom which was a bit odd but not problem for us.

The beach: There are designated chairs/umbrellas for Casa Faena at the beach directly across the street from the hotel. Its less than 5-min walk to the beach from the front of the hotel. Although not located on the beach but it does provided beach services (ie drinks, chairs, towels, etc), look for the red/white stripes umbrellas.

The parking: Valet only, price is reasonable. Call for your car ahead of time to avoid the wait.

Other amenities: There is a restaurant in the hotel that services breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is no pool. There is no gym but guest can used the gym at their sister property, Faena Hotel which is 1 block away.

This place is good if you are looking for a quite getaway in Miami with beach access and services. You get most of the amenities of Hotel Faena without the higher resort fee.

I definitely want to stay here again next time I'm in Miami.

  • We went for the style & location, then stayed for the hospitality.

We loved our Casa Faena experience from start to finish.

It was easy to get to (we took the 150 bus from the airport and walked a block from the bus stop to hotel). It was an equally convenient location to stay at.

We were warmly welcomed by Alejandro and Adrian (both friendly &hardworking). I left with a soft spot for the lovely &efficient Lianet. We've stayed at different 4.5/5star brands but this was literally the best hospitality experience, hands down. Here are some specifics:

Our king room was charming but found it hard to sleep with Collins Ave traffic noise ~we were kindly moved to a quieter room at the back of the hotel the 2nd night. Beds were comfy. Ladies who cleaned our rooms were very good.

The food in the hotel restaurant was really good; we had breakfast & dinner there several times. The price-point was excellent for Collins Avenue. We enjoyed drinks by Erik, the resident mixologist. Happy hour food & drinks are a (delicious) steal.

The couple of little things that came up were dealt with in an air of true hospitality. We were both so impressed, we felt impelled to stay 2 nights longer than originally booked. Loved the feeling &size of this hotel; the Faena brand is beautiful but has a distinctly warm culture. The professional, hard-working, genuine, close-knit staff who represent the brand at Casa Faena are amazing.

Thank you in particular: Alejandro, Lianet, Adrian, Erik, Michael (housekeeping mgr), Carmelita, the Casa Faena cooks and hardworking Faena beach crew!

Definitely take time to explore the main Faena hotel, the Faena Art Forum and soon to open art-focused Faena stores next door.

  • Colonial Decor

    by Miamismith305 on 2017-10-25 01:04 pm

Casa Faena is part of the group that developed the district Faena, located on Collins Avenue between 31st and 35th streets. It is a small hotel, built on a historic structure of the city of Miami and decorated in the colonial style. It does not have a swimming pool and although it is not on the beach, it only takes 2 minutes to reach it. For being part of the group Faena, you can use the facilities of the Faena hotel except the pool.

  • Amazing experience and wonderful service at Casa Faena!

by dleannc on 2017-10-23 07:27 pm

This was my first trip to Miami, and my companion booked the California King room. Having access to the rooftop at night was worth the extra cost. Alejandro and Adrian went above and beyond ensuring we enjoyed ourselves and our experience at Casa Faena. The beach was beautiful, and complimentary chair and towel service was a huge perk. Although we had access to many of the Faena amenities; the club dress code was ridiculous - we are literally on the beach, it's weird shorts and T-shirt's weren't allowed.
Either way, our stay was throughly enjoyable and I'd highly recommend the Casa Faena to everyone.

  • Classy, Cozy, Charming Boutique Hotel with Amazing Staff

    by Tats77 on 2017-10-23 08:18 am

If you're considering staying here, do it without hesitation. It's clean, eclectic, Spanish style makes it feel like you've been transported to the halcyon days of Miami or Havana. Some reviewers recommend parking across the street, but that adds up very quickly and chances of getting ticketed are high. I recommend parking in the 17th street garage (17th and Washington) and ubering back to hotel. It's 20 bucks a day in garage. From the spacious and well appointed hotel rooms, comfy beds, delicious and affordable food at the restaurant to the amazing staff, Casa Faena feels like a home away from home. Alejandro at the front desk was so helpful and went out of his way to make my birthday weekend special. Adrian is the nicest attendant and so helpful. Erik and Juan at the restaurant took great care of us, myself and my friends ended up eating at the restaurant and enjoying the happy hour specials which made it easier than constantly going out. I highly recommend this gorgeous, hospitable boutique hotel.
