  • Awful experience. Avoid at all costs. False advertising.

On the Casa Faena website, it clearly indicates that Casa Queen rooms have a bathtub and a bay view. So imagine my massive disappointment when my Casa Queen was immediately next to a parking lot and had a dirty, grimy shower and no bathtub. When I asked the front desk to change my room, they refused to do anything to remedy the situation. Their big solution was to offer to refund my money (at 3 pm) and let me try to find another place. The General Manager hid behind his front desk staff and never came to speak to me directly. The front desk staff themselves seem completely overwhelmed and as though they're all on their first day. The hotel looks great on pictures but is way more shabby than chic and there are some parts of it that are downright disgusting and dirty (like the elevator). Basically this hotel is a riding on the success of Faena but is awful. It should also be noted that guests do not get to use the pool at Faena and have no special access to any of the Faena amenities other than the beach chairs. Avoid and go elsewhere. There are plenty of great places at mid beach, this isn't one of them.

  • Good staff, good value for location - but NOT a luxury experience

Just returned from 4 days at the Casa Faena. The staff was very friendly, always said hello, recognized us, whenever I was waiting in the lobby for my BF asking me if I need assistance or recommendations. We brought our dog with us and they were all very kind to her too and super sweet. I would recommend a uniform or an item (such as a pin) to designate staff, would be brand building for this boutique branch of Faena and make identifying them easier.

Room walls are really thin... I am used to street noise living in a city but you could hear your neighboring rooms and anyone in the hallway as if they were in your room.

We were in a Casa Queen room. It misses the design touches and functional elements that make the online photos look so good. No bed side table lamps or additional lamps aside from one overhead light near the sink, no flower arrangements, no throw pillows, no decorative coffee table books. That was disappointing to see the rooms appearance vary so much from the online promised rooms

The bathroom is small but fine. The sink is outside the bathroom and needs a place to hang hand towels instead of just draped wet on the counter. Also would recommend purchasing some tissue box covers to cover the generic Kleenex pattern. The main Faena hotel has them, showing the group knows better just deliberately ignores this hotel. Our hot water faucet didn't turn and was broken at our bathroom sink.

This hotel had very friendly staff with great beach access and convenient location. I liked the happy hour special in the bar. I think I will try another hotel in Miami Beach though next time. The price of $229/night for this room was fair.

  • Good hotel with great views.

Stayed here two nights. Staff was great, as was the room and location. Lobby and little bar/restaurant are quaint. Food and service were very good overall and Armando, the manager, really made us feel at home. Would definitely use this hotel again.

  • Interesting Stay, Positive Experience With Staff

My wife and I stayed at Casa Faena this past weekend, as we were in town for a wedding. The hotel unfortunately had a few issues that were out of their control, but effected our stay. The power was accidentally interrupted by construction across the street limiting hot water and elevator usage for some portions of the trip. I must say that if it weren't for the manager Armando, who is a PRO, our trip would have been miserable. He did everything within his power to help make our stay enjoyable, while dealing with these unavoidable issues. It was definitely a tough weekend to stay but will surely look to come back in the future when we can enjoy the hotel more.

  • Good position

We stayed here for three nights and enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful particularly Lionette. The hotel is quirky with a nice comfortable feel. The only criticism is that the bathroom needs updating as it is a little shabby.
