Wedding at the Cork Factory Hotel
Booked a night at the Cork Factory Hotel in Lancaster, PA for good friends wedding.
Check in was easy and smooth. Room was comfortable. Not too fancy. TV as on the small side, but we were not in the room much.
Wedding party was fantastic. Great time. -
A Very Nice Hotel, Reasonably Priced
What I love about this hotel is the it is reasonably priced and the restaurant/bar area are very nice. They offer a lovely continental breakfast in the morning for all guests free of charge ....and the coffee is pretty good. The staff is friendly, but it would be nice if they asssted with the luggage upon arrive and departure. I would also suggest water in the room and a turn down service...these little touches would increase their rating!

Interesting Hotel In Lancaster
This facility is located in a complete refurbished cork factory. While this may sound scary, it is a really nice hotel which has a look and feel different from any place we have stayed. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Rooms were a nice size and well appointed. The continental breakfast included with the room was excellent. It is also nicely located for getting to all points around Lancaster and Amish attractions.
My only caution is because this is not a building designed for a hotel, the floors are not well insulated for sound deadening. We were wakened early in the morning by the sound from the room above us.

We have a few more ideas, so hopefully you'll notice a difference next time you're in town. However, please feel free to request top-floor rooms and we'll do our best to accommodate! Best for wedding receptions
Beautiful facility with great food and superior service. The banquet facility has great ambiance with superior wood flooring for great dancing. From such a large venue with very high roof, the heating system was superior. It was 30 degrees outside.

Quaint but crazy loud weekend nights
The old factory setting is quaint and our double-queen room with exposed brick walls was spacious and comfortable.
However, we were awoken Saturday at 1:30am by a raucous post-wedding group ion the second floor, going from room to room and hanging out shouting in the hallway. Going out into the hallway to tell them to be quiet didn't help, so I had to involve the front desk. Eventually they quieted down, but we couldn't get back to sleep.
Here's the question, Cork Factory Hotel: we booked with a group for under-12 field hockey players. Surely, the wedding booked with a wedding-specific group. So you KNOW ahead of time who is the wedding party and who is families with young girls. So WHY would you stick us in the middle of the wedding hallway?
Front desk didn't even ask how our stay was at check-out.
