  • Great experience at a boutique hotel in an 1865 landmark!

Very unique property with brick and wood rooms. Free continental breakfast as well as free local newspapers.Rooms were very clean and wonderful. Worth checking out if staying locally! Attended a wedding reception, and we had a Vegan entree especially made which was phenomenal!

  • Great stay, good location

We did not notice any noise like other reviews state, the give you ear plugs if you need them, we stayed in room 104. It was hot and muggy but we were greeting by a cool 62 degree room which temperature was easily changed with thermostat. The toiletries given were great. The tv could have been bigger and the shower door could have slid open instead of swing to prevent it hitting the toilet. Otherwise this hotel was great!

  • Yep, noise

It's true what other reviews say. Noise carries really easily. Kept up through the night. Ultimately woken up by the cell phone alarm in someone else's room!

Space is interesting though. Comfortable bed. Nice room. Had continental breakfast in the restaurant which was ok.

Not that close to downtown Lancaster but cool brewpub is a short walk.

  • Character and quality

Don't miss the superb staircase. Hotel full of character in the adaptation of an industrial building and full of quality in the design, space and furnishings. We had a spacious room that felt industrial but was comfortable. Cool brick surfaces outside and inside hint at heritage. Good Wi-Fi. Plenty of outlets for recharging.

  • Short getaway

This hotel gave us a unique experience, as it was cool to stay at a former cork factory-turned-hotel. Felt like we were staying at a boutique hotel. The room was big enough for two people, so as the bed. Our room was far from the elevator, so if you like some quietness, you should ask for that before checking-in.
Now, getting at the hotel is bit tricky, as it did not have the main entrance located on a street but instead, you first have to enter a parking lot, pass through that, and make several turns until you get at the entrance and the GPS navigator might be needed in order not to get lost. Once you know how to get there, though, you won't have any problem to find the main entrance without a navigator after that.
