Crater Lake Lodge
A grand northwest historic lodge, the 71-room Crater Lake Lodge, a member of Historic Hotels of America since 2012, originally opened in 1915 and is located on the edge of one of the country’s crown jewels – Crater Lake. No place else on earth combines a deep pure lake, so blue in color; sheer surrounding cliffs, almost 2,000 feet high; a picturesque island and a violent volcanic past. The historic lodge is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and was reopened after extensive renovation in 1995 and offers an atmosphere reminiscent of the 1920s, immersing visitors in its rustic charm.
A sense of awe comes over you when entering through the main entrance and viewing the boldly stated fireplace in the Great Hall. Each room provides the expected luxury hotel standards of comfort, privacy, and service. Immerse in the history of Crater Lake Lodge by visiting the Exhibit Room just off the lobby. The Crater Lake Lodge Dining Room overlooks the lake and serves the finest northwest regional cuisine.
Crater Lake Lodge is open from late-May thru mid-October. However, Crater Lake National Park offers many year-round things to do. Enjoy adventurous activities such as winter cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, summer camping, boat tours, hiking, and scenic tours around the lake.
Crater Lake Lodge is located in Crater Lake National Park.
