Established in 1879, the Eagle Mountain House & Golf Club was known for its hospitality to travelers, spectacular mountain setting and hearty farm-fresh meals. This tradition lives on today in a casually elegant yet relaxed historical setting for couples, families and group gatherings. A favorite among outdoor enthusiasts, the inn is central to several downhill ski areas, man-made and natural attractions and activities. In winter, guests can cross-country ski from the front door.
In warmer months, guests can frolic in nearby Jackson Falls, just a short walk from the hotel. The nine-hole mountain course was designed by the son of the inn's original builders and boasts three elevated tee shots along the nationally protected Wildcat River. Inside, the library and lobby both offer fireplaces for mellow respite. Tennis courts, a health club and a heated pool are also all on-site.
