With more than 12,000 square feet of meeting and function space, the Gideon Putnam can accommodate gatherings of up to 500 people for business meetings, social events and weddings. The centerpiece of the hotel’s function space is its newly restored, self-contained conference center, which hosts many of the region’s most prestigious fund-raisers, meetings and conferences. Hotel staff handle everything from sales to onsite audiovisual support. Both buffet and plated menus are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner functions, and the hotel’s full-service catering staff can design specialty and theme menus. The hotel’s Grand Ballroom—a favorite local venue for wedding receptions—features a newly installed parquet dance floor, lighting system and sound system. Outdoor spaces are also available for dining, receptions, team-building and wedding ceremonies.
