Overview

Inspired by civic pride, the city of Salem established the Hawthorne Hotel to serve as a community focal point. The classic brick structure stands prominently on the city’s historic common and has figured prominently in the area’s community and social life. Situated on Salem’s Heritage Trail, the hotel is surrounded by the many and varied attractions that have contributed to the city’s important legacy. From the Salem Witch Museum and the House of Seven Gables to the historic Salem Harbor and Pickering Wharf, guests will find themselves well-situated to experience all that this North Shore gem has to offer.
