  • Wish I would have gone to the Watermark

    The staff is so disinterested in the guests. I have been staying there for years but it is getting worse. Dangerous non valet parking. Poor food and bad service. Good location but I thought with the Watermark opening near it would have upped its service. Wrong.

    The hotel was, and is, beautiful. They were decorating for the holidays, adding a nice element to the experience. The hotel was clean. The bar staff was friendly, and made good drinks! The other staff members that I encountered were friendly, courteous, and respectful. The bed was awesome, and the shower had an endless supply of hot water! The view of the River was breathtaking, even with the construction taking place on the pool patio level. The people working by the pool seemed to keep the area clean and orderly, despite the chaos of construction. The Executive Lounge was nice, tidy, and convenient, along with a very nice woman there for the hotel in the mornings. The front desk staff could not have been more polite, and accommodating. Based on my experience at the Hilton Baton Rouge, and as an individual who travels quite a lot and who has spent 90+ nights a year in a competitor's hotels, I've been captured by the Hilton brand. Keep up the good work! Everyone was awesome..the valet staff...the front desk staff...the restaurant and bar staff...the managers ....the housekeepers...excellent job! And, more importantly, THANK YOU!

  • Not worth the cost

    The hotel is pretty but you can stay just a couple miles away from here for cheaper pricing and more amenities. There is only parking on this side of the building and lucky if there is a space other wise you have to pay 20 dollars. The staff is really good. They were polite and prompt in all my dealings with them. The room service food was not good the price was reasonable but the actual food was not good. The room I was in was built wrong the doors to the shower opened in so they covered the on/off handle so you had to freeze and then burn before you could get the temperature correct.

  • Bad Hilton

    The service was poor and the normal Hilton experience simply was not met. I will not be staying at this Hilton ever again. Recommend other Hilton hotels in the area instead as this one is not worth the money, even if it expensed to your client or employer..

    hilton gold member was given room upgrade to junior riverview suite. very nice view of the bridge ordered room service next morning. reasonable prices and good food. adequate blackout curtains street parking is sparse, prepare to pay for lot
