Overview

A AAA Four Diamond hotel, Hilton Milwaukee City Center is the epicenter of the vibrant cultural offerings of downtown Milwaukee and a staple of the skyline of Wisconsin's largest city. Opened in 1928, the original owner, Walter Schroeder, was known for his generosity and the dinner parties he hosted. The Hilton Milwaukee's tradition of welcoming guests with open arms continues today.

In addition to the elegance and personalized service still emphasized at the historic Hilton Milwaukee City Center, guests can enjoy a variety of dining establishments, historic ballrooms with elegant settings ideal to host meetings and events, 729 spacious guestrooms with luxurious detail and well-equipped meeting rooms, and business centers.

The hotel was once the site of a Potawatomi Indian village at the foot of a steep bluff. A bronze plaque on the Wisconsin Avenue side of the building reminds guests of this fact.
