  • Extremely old, cockroach infested, malfunctioning gym

    I stayed at Hilton St Louis Downtown at the Arch, Saint Louis, MO for 6 days. The first night, I could not sleep, because the mini fridge was making disturbing siren sounds (so I took out the plug) and the whole room was creaking (I'm guessing the hotel is old). Perhaps, because I was on the fourth floor, they did house keeping starting at 8 AM (which is rather intrusive to me). Generally, the rooms have no noise proof, and you can hear everything that goes on. This set me up for a very exhausted first day of business, so I asked for another room, where at least they'd do house keeping a bit later in the morning. In turn, they gave me another room on the seventh floor. All was ok (no more room creaking), but I found three cockroaches over my stay at the place. I think the last time I saw a cockroach indoor was in undergrad dorm 10 years ago. This is the first time in my place, where I met cockroach in a hotel. Finally, they had a gym with one cycle, two ellipticals, and three treadmills. BUT all did not work, except one elliptical. Surely, hands down the worst hilton hotel, and more generally, hotel I have stayed at.

  • Great location and price

    I really like staying in this particular hotel when I travel to St. Louis. I appreciate the complimentary bottles of water, super friendly staff, along with the proximity to my meeting space. It's also within walking distance to some great restaurants.

  • Great AGAIN

    Always satisfied with this hotel. It's older, but has character. Beautifully remodeled, great location, friendly staff, close parking, and always clean. I've stayed many times over the course of 7 years.

  • Excellent Location

    Location is great, right downtown near the Arch and ballpark. Very friendly and fast valet (but not cheap) that we used since we checked in so late and didn't want to be wandering downtown at that hour. Front desk attendant was lukewarm but efficient if not overly friendly. Rooms clean and neat, bed super comfy. Loved the art deco feel of the hotel and the old vault in the lobby. Will stay longer and explore more next time.

  • Hotel and location was great but service was HORRIBLE

    Hotel and location was great but service was HORRIBLE. I didn't feel welcomed as a guess plus I was a gold member getting treated like I was not wanted as a guess. She even was trying to get me to find another hotel. It was a lot of back and forth until I was finally checked in through the app and proved my point
