  • Great location for our rehearsal dinner!

We recently had our rehearsal dinner at Hotel Bethlehem for our bridal party and families. The food was incredible (recommend the short ribs and saut?ed chicken), and the staff was very accommodating and checked on us frequently. We offered wine and beer to our guests- the staff made sure there was always plenty. Highly recommend for your next event!

  • This hotel only gets better

    by Frank S on 2017-10-02 06:09 am

Visited this hotel in December 2012 and wrote a review. Just returned from another stay. Some people say things are not as good as you remember. In the case of this property it was better then we remembered it. They have constantly made improvements and upgrades. We stayed in room 720, the Governors suite. The staff treated us royally, from the airport pickup, the front desk, the restaurant personnel and the house keeper. We were spoiled. Speaking of the restaurants, both the Tap Room and the formal dinning room are excellent. A charming Lady, Francois, is the morning manager in the tap Room, we had breakfast there every morning and she made us feel like family. We have never been more relaxed away from home. Old Town Bethlehem is a tourist delight. We are booked back there for Christmas. Their Christmas decorations are over the top. For a unique experience you should visit in December. It feels like you got in a time machine and went Back a hundred years. Dennis Costello is still the GM and runs things with a steady and consistent hand.

We are excited about the changes and restoration that has taken place over the years. Thank you for noticing! Our staff takes tremendous pride i providing gracious service and we are certainly glad that we hit the mark. We agree - Francoise is a treasure. She ensures that everyone has a great start to their day! We look forward to your visit in December. It is a special time of year in our Little Town of Bethlehem. Ask us about our Christmas packages that include tour tickets! So much to do - and enjoy. Everyone leaves us with a little bit of the Spirit of Christmas.

  • Superb Experience - Ask for a view of the "Star" room

    by pappy216 on 2017-09-28 07:05 am

Had an excellent two evening stay in conjunction with running the Leigh High Valley marathon. Room was normal size but extremely quiet even with a wedding in the hotel. Everything was top notch and we had a 8th floor room with a southernly view of the "Bethlehem Star". Very cool. Morning coffee in lobby is top shelf too. If you heading to Bethlehem, this is the place to stay.

  • Enduring Elegance

    by Elizabeth R on 2017-09-27 03:12 pm

Another wonderful stay at this historic hotel. In my last review I spoke of how old the hotel was...NOT "old" as in uck, rather "old" as in classic. The wood work in the lobby and public areas is amazing!! The architecture is classic and timeless. I suggest having a meal in the restaurant located in the lobby. Ask for a table by the windows, best place to people watch. Their "touch of ritz" (anything done of special note) is their elegant black box containing a selection of mixed nuts, the hotel name boldly printed in gold!! Entering your room you immediately feel at ease...the bedding perfect and so comfortable....dont miss the chance to enjoy this amazing "old" historic hotel in Bethlehem.

    Dear Elizabeth R:

Thank you very much for your very kind review! We truly appreciate that you took notice of all of the touches that we have done in restoring this Grand Dame of Main Street. We believe that we can be "historic" without being "old". Providing our guests with all of the amenities and comforts that today's travelers enjoy while ensuring that we greet all of our guests with gracious hospitality is what we enjoy most! We hope to see you again soon so that we may warmly welcome you back.
