  • Outstanding All Around!!

I could not give a higher recommendation to the Hotel Boulderado: we were here for our wedding and from start to finish the staff and experience were exceptional!! HIGHLY recommend!!!! Our every need was seen to immediately and with such positive and genial attitudes. The staff was resourceful, friendly, and responsive. We worked with all aspects of the Hotel from event staff to bellboys to cleaning staff and there was not a single experience that was less than superb. It's a little pricey but, in my opinion, well worth the extra splurge.

The best way to experience Boulder for sure! A block away from Pearl Street and beautiful views of the mountain range. Historic and western charm with top notch service and accommodations! We had a wonderful stay.

  • A Weekend to Remember

From the moment we checked in, receiving a warm congratulations for our 50th anniversary, we enjoyed the people and accommodations of Hotel Boulderado, chocolates in the room, smiles and genuine friendly staff. It was all very enticing. The hotel's location is excellent, with Pearl Street only a couple of blocks away. We were able to walk to everything -- the Farmer's Market, a Riverside trail, the stores, and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed jazz in the Corner Bar and dining area early on a Saturday afternoon.

  • Blast from the Past

I stayed here for two nights last week at $385 per night. The hotel gave me an upgrade at no cost to a king suite since my daughter would be dressing in my room for her wedding. My top floor room was larger with two TVs, dark blue floral wallpaper, white cotton bedspread and deep berry carpet with turn down service at night and chocolates. The valet service was terrific and I could tell that the entire hotel staff enjoyed interacting with guests. The wedding photographer loved taking pictures of the bride and groom throughout the elegantly historic lobby and staircase.

If you like overwhelming flower patterns, this is the place for you! While the common areas of the hotel maintain a historically plausible appeal, including the 1909 elevator, a grand staircase, and great artifacts/exhibits in the hallway, the visual assault of flower patterns in use in the $400/night king suite will keep me from spending another night there. I like flowers--even period-correct flower wallpaper--but this was painful. The wallpaper, drapes, lampshades, shower curtain, and furniture all had different flower patterns. The sole relief from the flower assault was the white chenille bedspread. Surely there must be a way to balance the visual noise of the patterns into the room, without being so overwhelming. It severely hurt an otherwise good stay. The other note is that the cleaning crew was at our door before 8 am, so make sure to put out your "do not disturb" signs if you aren't going to be gone before 7:30 am.
