  • Cleaning staff took my personal property

    The hotel is nice, but was very disappointed to find that the cleaning staff had moved and taken some of my toiletries. Since I was travelling around the country for the next couple of weeks, I did not have a chance to go buy more, this was very frustrating.

    This hotel is very beautiful. The staff responds quickly to the customer's needs. It has limited access to floors which enhances security. Most drinks snacks in room are provided in refrigerator cash bar.

    Inviting lobby, fantastic rooms, REAL gingerbread house in the lobby. Outside beautiful with lovely decorations. Comfort at it's absolute best! Leaves you feeling very special. Bathrooms exceptional, setting area comfortable, bedroom spacious. Can't say enough about the atmosphere!

    The hotel is really beautiful. Old world elegance. The rooms are large and very comfortable and a minor problem we had with the bathroom was attended to immediately. HOWEVER, there must be something going on with the management because the restaurant service was the slowest we ever experienced anywhere. I'm talking about nearly an hour wait for our main course. And it happened at breakfast and dinner. The food was very good when we finally go it, but boy, painfully slow. And the same problem exists with the valet parking. If you're not in a hurry, and we weren't, it's a great place.

  • Grand Gala 2017

    We booked 2 rooms for the Grand Gala 2017. Though there were a few snags at the start with overbooking the hotel, and possibly moving out location to another hotel, the staff and Group Sales Manager, Tracey Schofield went above and beyond. We were lucky to obtain a magnificent two bedroom suite. Whatever went wrong, it was all fixed for out party of 5.
    Wonderful stay.
