  • Friendly environment, Clean Hotel

    by Mindy S on 2018-03-05 10:11 am

The front desk people are all genuinely nice and accommodating. We accidentally left our hotel keys in the room while we were having dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and were given more keys no questions asked. The room was clean and we had everything we needed in the room already. I did appreciate a fan that is kept in the closet. I do get very warm during the night and this helped me sleep better. Cool experience with very interesting architecture!

Where do I begin? The hotel needs MAJAOR renovation. We insisted on changing rooms because our original 2 story suite had no AC in the upper level and their were massive "DNA" stains all over the bed comforter and carpet.
Our next room had mold in the bathroom tile and rusty sink faucet. Every room doesn't have enough electrical outlets and is vintage 1960's. We received a $50 discount because we had to change rooms, but it still wasn't close to being worth $220+. Don't do it!

  • Stay Away From The Complimentary Breakfast

    by Gregory W on 2018-02-18 03:04 am

My wife along with some friends were able to scratch off a bucket list item and stay at the wonderful piece of Americana. Most of the other reviews pretty much reflect my feelings concerning the room.

My review is mostly good, but as the title suggests stay away from the Complimentary Breakfast. The eggs were some where between an omelet that went wrong and runny scrambled. The toast was so hard that you couldn't bite into it, that the bacon was so overcooked that it was hard, and really had no taste. The mix fruit reminded me of one of those bags of frozen fruit that you can get at the supermarket, and that was the food choices, there was no cereal or milk, however, there was orange juice and coffee.

I have had a better breakfast at one of those interstate economy motels where you can make your own waffles.

We dined the night before at Cooper Restaurant and the food was excellent. It would appear that the award winning chef that prepares the lunch and dinner meal selections has nothing to do with the breakfast.

  • Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright

by Seasaltshack on 2018-02-03 02:17 pm

Frank Lloyd Wright- masterful designer. Hotel is only a few floors. Feels like we've stepped back into the 60s! Beds are ok. Staff is wonderful. Museum has donated pieces of Frank Lloyd Wright original furniture pieces and a scaled model of the Price Tower. If you like Frank Lloyd Wright design, this is a must see!

  • Fulfillment of a FLW Docent's Dream

    by MCBW5875 on 2018-01-21 07:31 am

Our THRILLING stay was in the only Frank Lloyd Wright designed "skyscraper" - all of 19 floors. Our "standard room" was on the 12th floor with lovely views of Bartlesville. If you stay there, please be aware that your accommodations are in a magnificent work of structural art, and may not be comfortable for anyone looking for great bedding, spacious warm bathrooms, elevators fitting more than 3-4 people, or wall to wall up-to-date carpeting rather than well used area rugs. An included hearty and good breakfast was served on another floor by an enthusiastic chef in training. The Inn is waiting for an experienced chef to welcome dinner guests again. We did have a very special tour given to us by an experienced docent who was knowledgeable and passionate about this gem of a building and the Master behind it. The inn staff was efficient and accommodating.
