Lake Yellowstone Hotel & Cabins
Activities & Events
Yellowstone National Park is home to countless activities aimed at entertaining and educating visitors. Guests can step back into the Wild West on a guided horseback rides or spend a day on Yellowstone Lake with a guided fishing expedition or Scenicruise tour.
Visitors also have the opportunity to explore Yellowstone’s wildlife and natural resources as they were decades ago—aboard one of eight Historic Yellow Buses — each are original 1930s tour buses refurbished to modern safety standards. For guest enjoyment during off-peak seasons, Xanterra and the Yellowstone Association have designed a number of multi-day Lodging & Learning packages. These interpretive programs feature wolf watching, nature viewing, and photography.
Guests can also explore the selection of unique gifts and apparel in the gift shops, in search of the perfect token of their Yellowstone adventure. Or, the hardiest adventurers can travel into the deep backcountry of the park to experience some of the most remote wilderness areas in the Lower 48.
Yellowstone. Don’t just see it, experience it!
