  • Gorgeous!

    by S4935GZpatricias on 2018-06-18 11:12 am

Went for a girls 60th birthday celebration. The hotel is drop-dead gorgeous (no pun intended as a nod to the "ghosts"). Service, staff, rooms, all impeccable. I am admittedly a scaredy cat so I was unnerved to know that the hotel could be haunted. But I bravely stayed in my room while my roommates went to dinner (had a little jet lag). When something fell in the bathroom I was paralyzed until they came back!!! LOL Shame on me. No sightings just alot of fun.

  • Loved this hotel!!

From the moment you walk in, you feel you're in a plush historic hotel. Every detail is beautiful! Our beds & pillows were so comfortable, we didn't want to get out of bed. The first day it rained & we didn't want to have to walk any where to eat in the rain so we went down to the restaurant. We are SO glad we did!! They have cook to order buffet. It's $15 if you just get soup and salad or $22 if you get it all. If you get it all, you get soup, salad, cook to order entree (first day it was chicken in cream sauce covered in chunks of crab meat and crawfish tails, OMGOSH!!! So good!) and you also get to choose your pasta, sauce, veggies & protein & it's also cooked to order. Their dessert was bread pudding. My friend said it tasted like a "warm hug" & I said "like Christmas". I'm not even kidding, worth every penny!! It was so good, we ate there again when they had shrimp & grits!! They have this fabulous pb&j bar at 10. They bring out already made one cut in triangles or you can make your own. They bring out tubs of grape jelly, strawberry jam, crunchy & creamy peanut butter, there's milk, chocolate milk, hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows. This was the highlight of our evening! Just a wonderful hotel and we can't wait to stay there again.

  • Perfect location, incredible staff, wonderful weekend in the big easy!

by TheMellybooProject on 2018-06-14 10:26 am

I was here last weekend with two girlfriends of mine, for my "anti-bachelorette" weekend in New Orleans. We were immediately taken aback by the stunningly regal lobby!

We had a basic 2-bed room, it was stylish and comfortable for the three of us for the 3 nights. The only semi-negative thing I would have to say is when we called down for towels on our last day (because housekeeping had removed them all the previous day, unbeknownst to us) we never received new towels - waited over 30min until we managed to flag down a housekeeper to give us some new ones.

The staff was incredible - especially the doormen. Always friendly, eager to give tips and gave the impression that they were genuinely looking out for our well being.

The location was perfect- close enough to walk to the French Quarter, but just far enough out to not be disturbed by the debauchery.

    Highly recommend!

Thank you for the five-star review of Le Pavillon. I am thrilled to hear that you and your girlfriends had a fantastic getaway from our majestic interior design, well-appointed accommodations and dedicated customer service. I apologize for the issue with the towels and I will bring this up with my team to see where the miscommunication occurred. We appreciate your kind recommendation and look forward to your next visit!

  • Great location, great ambience, comfortable rooms

    by CurlyLagunaHills_CA on 2018-06-13 09:56 pm

This was our first time in New Orleans, and we were glad to have chosen Le Pavillon as our hotel. We were able to easily walk to Bourbon Street, the riverfront area (where we did the Natchez Steamboat sunset cruise), National World War II museum, Smoothie King Arena (right by Superdome), and so much more. And it's a very short walk to get on the St Charles St. streetcar if you want to explore the garden district.

Our king size bed was super comfortable, and there were super-fluffy bath towels. We did the breakfast buffet at the hotel one morning; great spread including made to order omelettes. The hotel bar is a great place to have a cocktail in the evening, and we also took advantage of the roof-top lounge area (on the 10th floor) to take in the sunset one evening. (though be aware that you have to walk a flight of stairs from the 9th floor to get to the roof-top; there is no elevator access all the way to the top).
Several different bellmen (Wayne and Adam) were exceptionally friendly and helpful, as was Roy the concierge.

Should we be back in New Orleans, we will definitely stay here again!

  • Great place

    by Tony H on 2018-06-11 06:46 pm

We had a fantastic time here. The doorman was beyond any expectations we had. Remembered our name. Helped us over and over. The front desk people were extremely helpful and kind. We had 2 not fun encounters but that shouldn't reflect as a whole. The concierge lady had a really fake personality and was very rude when we were asking her questions. We asked about a plantation tour and how much they charged and she said $99 plus tax. I said well we found them online and on the street for in the $60s she glared at us and said "good for you" and turned away from us. Then while showering the water would come and go. From full pressure to no water. Aside from those two issues we will stay there for sure again. Loved the PB&J sandwiches

Though I am sorry to hear about your one experience with the concierge and we will look into this to see where the miscommunication occurred. We are looking into the issues you experienced with the water pressure and we appreciate your feedback as we fix this. We look forward to welcoming you back again in the future!
