The Inn at Leola Village, Est. 1867
History
Slated for demolition in 1999 to make way for a convenience store and an automotive servicing franchise, Dutch country homes and workplaces were renovated to create Leola Village Inn and Suites in 2000. The farm’s carriage house serves as the lobby and registration area; the restored structure’s original wood beams and corncob joints are still intact. Two farmhouses, circa 1890 and 1860, and an 1800s tobacco barn are used as guest accommodations. The 64 guestrooms and suites are appointed with period and reproduction furniture, some come with handmade quilts. Jacuzzis® are available in fourteen of the suites.
