  • Nice hotel, but...

The Lord Jeffrey Inn is a nice hotel but it needs some updating. Once inside it has an old feel to it, down the the carpet. Our room was nice but the bathrooms are small and there is no water for guests to drink if you happen to get thirsty at night. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is great. I think if they'd update the hotel a bit it would be worth the money they charge.

A very special property replete with old world charm, fantastic restaurant and impeccable service. The facility is in a great location and offers everything a traveler may need to feel comfortable while away from home. A must if you are in the Amherst area.

This inn is a gorgeous New England gem.
So lovely! Really brings you back in time. The staff is wonderful and the restaurant ( though expensive ) is worth every penny.
Definitely go to Western Massachusetts and stay at the Lord Jeffry inn- you won't tegret it!

  • Great Service, Great Stay

I was looking for a night place to stay for the night my husband returns from overseas. We haven't seen each other for about a year and I wanted to spend the first night together in a unique and special place. This hit the mark!
When we arrived, we were greeting by the Front Desk Rep. named Paul. He was so energetic and upbeat and presented himself fantastically. Due to the layout of the historic hotel, there were a few options to get to the location of our room and he explained the options perfectly! He set us in a suite room (Queen bed with a small seating area with fireplace) and it was the perfect atmosphere for our first night together. I would say that this room in particular has a slanted ceiling since it's on the top level of that section of the building so this room would probably not be suitable for taller people, but it worked well for us.
We decided to walk around, and their venue is centrally located to a multitude of restaurants and shops.
Afterwards, we headed to their bar in their restaurant (30Boltwood) and the drinks were great and again the staff there was so great to talk with. They made the evening very comfortable and relaxed.
Would most certainly recommend this hotel!

  • Very classy hotel with a great staff

My wife and I spent 2 nights at the Lord Jeffrey on our way back from a Vermont ski trip. If you like to stay in a first class historic hotel, this is the place to be. The front desk staff were cheerful and helpful. One quirk about this hotel is you have to put your room key in a slot to turn on the lights.
