The Inn comprises three buildings and 66 spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated rooms with views of the Napa River and/or downtown Napa. Many rooms come with fireplaces and/or balconies, and all are bathed in the sparkling light and air of Napa Valley. The Captain Hatt Suite, the largest and most luxurious room in the Hatt Building (1884), is named after the hall founder and steamship owner Capt. Albert E. Hatt. The building serves as the main entrance complete with marble lobby and Victorian-styled rooms. The Hatt Building also lodges the historic deluxe rooms, and the Embarcadero Building and the Plaza Building rooms feature river views, fireplaces, balconies or patios, all with superior amenities and conveniences to make your stay memorable and comfortable.

The Captain Hatt Suite includes a king canopy bed, separate sitting room, fireplace, wet bar, hardwood flooring, lounge chairs and ottoman, slipper-backed tub and luxury shower and all amenities. Originally the library and anteroom for Hatt Hall, the suite preserves the original clay-brick wall, windows and exact replicas of moldings and trim for added atmosphere.

Historic deluxe rooms are also in the original Hatt Building and are similar to the suite in look and feel. The original flooring, exposed white rock maple tongue-and-groove plank flooring, is now covered with area rugs. Deluxe rooms also have king canopy beds, lounge chairs, velvet ottomans and slipper tubs, separate walk-in showers and all amenities.

Standard rooms offer a choice of king, queen or two double beds, courtyard or library views, all amenities at a reasonable price.

Executive rooms appeal to business travelers who want extra room (more than a standard room), but who are budget-minded. Featuring a fireplace, river view or a balcony, the rooms can be found either in the Embarcadero (for the nautical feel) or in the Plaza (for a contemporary wine country feel).

Embarcadero deluxe rooms are located in the Embarcadero Building and feature nautical-themed furnishings and room decor. Cherry wood wainscoting and coffered paneling, round porthole mirrors in carved-rope frames, cheerful cherry-red-and-yellow color themes, and fireplaces and Roman shades grace each room. Luxurious bathrooms feature granite countertops, vanities, and stone-tiled floors with separate walk-in-showers.
