Overview

The accommodations in Yellowstone National Park aren't just places to stay, they are monuments to a long-standing ideal that special places in the world should be set aside and preserved for future generations. Staying in the park is the best way for visitors to experience all Yellowstone has to offer.

Old Faithful Inn, a member of Historic Hotels of America since 2012, is one example of how guests can experience the essence of Yellowstone. On May 28, 1987, The Old Faithful Inn was designated by the U. S. Secretary of the Interior as a National Historic Landmark. This rustic-style lodge, with its log and wood shingle exterior, is adjacent to the world-famous Old Faithful Geyser. The original part of the Inn, known as the "Old House," was completed in 1905 and today, the Inn is an icon of national park architecture and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The immense lobby rises 76 feet and features a massive stone fireplace and a handcrafted clock made of copper, wood, and wrought iron. It’s the most requested lodging facility in Yellowstone National Park. The east and west wings of Old Faithful Inn were added in the early 1900s, with many rooms being remodeled in recent years.

Guest accommodations include rooms with private and shared baths. Additionally, a full-service restaurant, deli, gift store, and interpretive tours are available at the Inn. The Inn is open from early May through mid-October and closed during the winter.

Old Faithful Inn, a member of Historic Hotels of America since 2012, dates back to 1904.
