Very nice hotel, however my room was pretty tight space wise. No room to set up luggage rack to hold my suitcase; but was able to use the other bed in the room just as easily. A good value for the price and everyone gave great service.

  • Great hotel, small rooms

We stayed in the Omni Parker House for 4 nights. Entering the hotel gives you a feeling of luxery. A big hall, thick carpet and style. The room was allright but small. We had one queen bed and there was not much space around it. We had asked for a quiet room and we got it. Completely at the end of the hall. We had two windows, booth with a view on a wall at less than 30 ft. It was our last hotel after three weeks in the States and we had only seen large rooms for far less money so we had to adjust for a moment.
But what you do get is a stay in the oldest hotel in America (so they say) with a lot of history, in the center of Boston, good service, the freedom trail passing the hotel and most to do and to see things on walking distance.
Across the street is a restaurant we liked very much, Scholars with good food for a good price and around the corner was the B.Good, where we had Breakfast a couple of times. But there are other restaurants to choose from too.
So we liked the Omni Parker House.

  • Avoid The Restaurant and Eat At The Bar!

by DiAnnesInLove on 2017-10-19 010:50 pm

So in Boston one just must have Boston Cream Pie and what better place than where it was invented along with Parker Dinner Rolls? We had a difficult time getting reservations at the restaurant on a busy 3 day weekend so we opted last minute for the more casual Parkers Bar in the Omni Parker House and the food is delightfully the same. We had Shrimp cocktail that was so good we redid it again. Our waitress had the entire bar to herself then a convention in town let out and she was swamped beyond belief but she did a great job (wish I could remember her name to give her kudos) but the drinks were so good that I barely remembered my name. Very classy bar nonetheless and in a very historic hotel. Well worth a drop in this historic place!

  • Boston Stay

The Parker House if a very old and quaint historic hotel in downtown Boston. While the service was good, the room is quite small. Not much room in the bathroom to move around. Location is the main thing this hotel has going for it.

Great hotel in a very good location. Food and service was excellent!!! Easy access to bus tours and short cab rides to many good places to eat. Walking distance to a lot of historic attractions. Would stay again.
