Overview

A Washington, DC institution, Omni Shoreham Hotel has hosted every president's inaugural ball from Franklin D. Roosevelt to Barack Obama and is the location where Bill Clinton famously played his saxophone during his inauguration. To pay tribute to such presidential presence, the historic hotel boasts nine Presidential Suites that bear the name of one of America's past leaders.

Recent renovations have left the Omni Shoreham hotel rooms with elegance, charm, and most importantly, comfort. Meeting spaces are refined and distinguished and have drawn visitors from all over the globe. Original owner Harry Bralove had a vision of a combined temporary and long term residential space, which in turn, guestrooms were constructed with the needs of a long-term guest in mind. To this day, they are the largest sleeping rooms in the Washington area.

A AAA 4 Diamond Hotel, Omni Shoreham Hotel is situated on eleven acres adjoining Rock Creek Park and offers spectacular views and convenient access to the city’s favorite attractions. Nearby, guests can explore the diverse neighborhoods of Adams Morgan and Dupont Circle, as well as Washington’s financial, entertainment, and shopping district. With easy access to Metro’s red line, the Smithsonian Museums, National Archives, Library of Congress, and Capitol Hill are just a few minutes away.

Omni Shoreham Hotel, Washington DC, a member of Historic Hotels of America since 2005, dates back to 1930.
