  • Good stay & Great Desserts

by FrancesinIdaho on 2017-10-06 08:35 am

After visiting Sheridan 2 years ago we came back to stay in the Historic Sheridan Inn and enjoy the lovely downtown artwork & specialty shops.
Our Robert Yellowtail room was most comfortable & we loved the d?cor.
The east facing room was bright in the morning making the dormer window seat a great reading spot. The 3rd floor sitting room game/library wings with self-serve hot beverages was an enjoyable place to play checkers & enjoy more of the buildings ambiance. Our meals were very good and waitperson Jessica told us about Tuesdays Burger & Beer special for $5 which we enjoyed with room for Cr?me Brule & Lemon Curd Puff Pastry for desserts. All in all a very lovely experience. (There were a couple of hiccups like maid service knocking at 8 am on morning one of our 2 day stay for example. Imagine this was a seasonal staff transition issue)

  • An interesting historical site.

The Sheridan Inn has an interesting history and decor. The food is average at best. It may be worth a trip to look at the bar and have a drink and soak in some history.

  • Tuesday evening for bargain burgers

    by Peter M on 2017-09-20 06:17 am

Angus beef burger dinners for 5 dollars and draft beer for 2.5 dollars served on Tuesday evenings in their historic Open Range dining room. Not advertised - locals advised us - just mention when you go. Excellent service

  • A nice road trip stop

We didnt stay at the Inn so cant comment on the rooms or really the service but we did stop for lunch and enjoyed the history. The Inn has been well preserved so great to see the original ball room and buffalo bill's saloon etc. Also just lovely people working there who love to show off their slice of history. Lots of picture opportunities along with a good meal.
