  • Must. Come. Here.

    by Karolina H on 2017-12-04 03:57 pm

How anyone could give this place less than 5 stars, I'll never know. It is one of the most memorable hotels we've stayed at in the US. Very elegant and cozy. The staff is the complete opposite of uptight! They are all so very sweet and accommodating. We had a corner suite (room 154) with plenty of room for us and our baby. The jacuzzi tub and steam shower surrounded by marble was a nice touch. We had our own vanities and sinks too! Every single restaurant is great--excellent food choices for indulgent behavior as well as super healthy & clean. The grounds are beautiful, especially with the Green Room where thy serve tea in the middle of a garden inside a glass room. I'd love to come back again!

Thank you so much for your glowing review. We are so pleased you were able to experience how hard our team works to provide 5-Star service each and every day. We would love for you and your family to come back as well!

  • 6 great visits, then this one was terrible

by Jatat on 2017-12-03 12:29 am

After 6+ visits over the last 3 years, it seems the 5 star culture is deteriorating on many levels (food, service at spa, front desk, quality of room). Have tried to communicate but NO RESPONSE. Beware!

    Owner Response
    Dear Jatat,

We are terribly disappointed to hear this experience was anything short of great as you had experienced during your past visits. I'm glad we had the opportunity to connect with you, so we can use your feedback as a coaching opportunity. We look forward to welcoming you back and restoring your trust in our typical 5-Star service.

    Best wishes,
    David B

  • Relaxation near Chicago

    by danielswiss64 on 2017-11-25 01:20 pm

We stayed one night on Black Friday. It has been several years since I last stayed. That memory was just so. I recall very dated bathrooms which I was surprised about. This time around we loved the shower system in our deluxe room. Nice and modernized. Toilet a bit small. Room in general also very nice. Bed comfortable. I did not like that the rooms are so dark as they let very little light in. At night it's cozy but during the day a bit depressing. I hated toiletries. The smell just awful and reminded me if cheap supermarket brand products. Common areas are nice and very clubby. We can highly recommend the Friday night seafood buffet. Excellent price and high quality food! A bit annoyed at the 20minute wait for breakfast. Wish someone at check-in had suggested we make a reservation. They ran out out silverware which resulted in extra wait. Was surprised by that organizationally. Restaurant staff very friendly and accommodating however. I did not like the spa's confusing rules about how many services have to ordered before you are allowed access. This changes day to day and then again on holidays. Who can keep track of such a confusing policy!

  • Rich in history

    by MBarb10 on 2017-11-24 11:19 am

When you stay at The American Club, be sure to learn about the history of Kohler and the original purpose of the hotel. The regular rooms are nicely appointed and, of course, have amazing Kohler showerheads in the bathroom. The rooms were very quiet. Almost no room to room noise. We enjoyed our walk to the Kohler Design Center and the shops at Woodlake. The bellmen/valet were very friendly. The complimentary bus shuttles are huge plus. We used them to go to Whistling Straights and Blackwolf Run. The hotel is not very elderly/ADA friendly. If you have problems with stairs, you might consider staying at the Inn at Woodlake instead.

  • Great place to stay, less than an hour to Green Bay

    by Ride2fast4u on 2017-11-22 06:25 am

Was headed up to the Packers game, and decided to spend the night here. This place oozes class. From the valet parking, to being greeted by name, to the wonderful suite (Audubon Suite), it was an amazing experience.

World class restaurants, and minutes to the Kohler Design Center and Water Spa. Treat yourself sometime, you'll be amazed!

    Owner Response
    Dear Ride2fast4u,

Thank you for providing such wonderful feedback and photographs. We are so happy you stopped on your way to the Packer game. You may want to try our sister property, Lodge Kohler, directly across from Lambeau Field the next time your travels take to you Green Bay!

    Best wishes,
