  • Last minute stay

My husband and I ran into a booking issue at another hotel and the Bedford Inn accommodated us very well. The staff was amazing. I was in town for a medical procedure so I did not get to enjoy the amenities. Room service was swift and tasty. room was well appointed.
I can not give 5 stars based on the behavior of the RUDE guests above us. Over an hour (after midnight) of banging and slamming and other guests complained as well. I would have expected some kind of an apology sent via email or at least a small discount on the room for the disturbance. Management ignored this.

  • First time in the "Grand" suites, won't be the last....

by EricinNH on 2018-02-13 01:32 pm

Living in the area, we've frequently gone to the Bedford Village Inn for dinner, wine, and bonfires. It's always a high class experience with the old inn look and feel. Having stayed in the traditional inn rooms, we decided to try the new "Grand" building and rooms. These rooms and building reflect the original old style New England architecture, but with modern finishes. If the architect was trying to make it appear "old" with new materials, they succeeded! Furniture, finishes, colors, and art were just spectacular.

We had a King suite that had a fireplace, large wall mount tv, mini bar area, 4 poster bed and a huge bathroom with double sinks, tub and walk in rain shower. It was spotless. The bar area/coffee area was well appointed with some wine, water and snacks for purchase.

But the best part of staying here? It's a short walk across the parking lot to the restaurant(s) for excellence service, food and drink. Well done BVI!

  • The Bedford Village Inn Is A Beautiful, Classic New Hampshire Inn

by GraceMarieGMC on 2018-02-05 05:21 pm

We've visited the Bedford Village Inn for many occasions: dinners, parties, weddings, and most recently an overnight stay. We've never been disappointed in any of the food, decor, cleanliness, or staff friendliness/helpfulness. The prices are a bit on the high side, but you get what you pay for. Our most recent stay was in a part of the Inn that is fairly new, and it was lovely. There are lots of great amenities. Definitely worth a stay.

  • Great spot for a quiet romantic evening.

    by 3PNUTSinNH on 2018-02-05 02:40 pm

We recently had dinner at the BVI on a Thursday evening. We had not been to the Inn in years, and it didn't seem to have changed. The dining rooms are classic small rooms, so it's definitely a quiet option vs the cavernous large restaurants we are used to. The meal was very good. The menu was filled with classic dishes, nothing overly cutting edge. We enjoyed clam chowder and mushroom bisque for starters, and a vegetable risotto and a shrimp/scallop dish for main courses. There was a nice basket of homemade breads, and we both tried the winter sangria, which was tasty.

Our server, Omar, was attentive and charming, adding to the overall feel for the evening. In comparison, there was an ice bar event on the outside patio area, where hundreds of people were enjoying sculptures and fires with a live band. So, we could have had either a quiet evening, or a fun outdoor event. In cold NH weather, we were happy we chose the warmer option.

    Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to express your thoughts about your positive dining experience at the BVI.
I was glad to hear you could find a quiet atmosphere and an attentive service despite our very busy outdoor event, the "Ice Bar".
I will be delighted to pass on your kind words to Omar and we look forward to welcoming you back!
    My best regards,

  • Nook Suite

    by Max K on 2018-01-26 06:18 pm

I had a fantastic stay for a weeklong business trip at the Village Inn. I stayed in the "grand" building more recently renovated. The Nook Suite is a corner room there. Really nice spread. Two sitting areas, two separate desk/tables for working, fireplace in the middle of the room. Huge bathroom with soaking tub and rain shower. Food in the bar not so great, but down at the older property ate at the dining room (best), tavern (next best) and enjoyed the wine bar which had a cozy private feel to it. Certainly great find in the cold January winter. I hope to come back in the summer!
