The Cavalier has five restaurants to cater to every pallet, whether you desire a five-course gourmet dinner, a barbecue on the oceanfront deck or a light poolside lunch. Orion's on the 11th floor of the Cavalier oceanfront compliments its fresh seafood, hickory grilling and nightly specials with panoramic views of Virginia Beach. Located on the lobby level of the Cavalier on the Hill, the Pocohontas Dining Room is as traditional as its atmosphere, serving family-style Southern favorites. On the lobby level of the Cavalier oceanfront, the casual Sand Dollar has superb family dining, with hearty appetizers and creative sandwiches. The aptly-name Breezewood Cafe meanwhile will draw those who want to stay near the water while they dine on the restaurant's fresh fruit, summer salads and specialty sandwiches. Finally, there's the winters-only Hunt Room Grill, a rustic restaurant with wood-paneled walls on the lower level of the Cavalier on the hill. Cocktails are offered before dinner in front of a roaring fireplace.
