Specializing in small overnight groups of 20-30 people, several versatile meeting locations within the mansion allow for a unique classical setting that offers not only world-class banquet menus, but also state-of-the-art audio visual capabilities. For special events and day meetings, The Chanler's facilities comfortably accommodate groups of over 100 people in truly breathtaking settings.
Meeting spaces include the elegant Winthrop Boardroom, which is ideally suited for a traditional Board of Director’s meeting. This classical space is enclosed by beautiful carved mahogany walls and features comfortable leather chairs and seating for up to 10. For larger groups, John Easton's Room features panoramic views of Easton's beach from within the room or by stepping out on to the balcony. This bilevel, flexible space can accommodate groups of up to 30.
Outdoor event spaces include the Cliff Lawn and Terrace, which can accommodation banquets of up to 130 and receptions of up to 200. Both feature breathtaking views of the Cliff Walk, Easton's Beach and Atlantic Ocean.
A natural choice for classical, luxurious weddings, The Chanler also specializes in weddings that are nothing short of 'Chanleresque'. With various locations for ceremonies and receptions, the culinary creations of the Spiced Pear restaurant, and a unique selection of 'bridal suites, this historic Newport hotel is capable of hosting weddings of up to 200 guests.
