  • Weekend getaway to Gettysburg

    We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, as were the beds. Our room had a fireplace which gave it a cozy feel. The best part, however, was the hotel's proximity to the wonderful shops and restaurants all around the area. We loved this hotel and plan to go back the next time we visit Gettysburg.

  • Great Location

    My husband and I stayed at this hotel during mid-November of 2017. We loved the location. It was within walking distance of many good restaurants. The service was great and the room was really lovely with very comfortable bedding and a nice, large bathroom.

  • 1 nite stay

    Room was not dusted and the pull out bed was ancient!! So uncomfortable! During our stay it was a very windy nite and we had a room with awnings on the windows......it sounded like a tornado for hours! Wind the awnings in!! The staff was extremely friendly however and the hotel itself is beautiful.

  • Stay in the center of town

    Was here on business for the Gettysburg Leadership Experience (an absolutely amazing learning / leadership education). The hotel is on the circle in Gettysburg. Go for a walk and enjoy the downtown experience. Restaurants, bars and shops surround the hotel. The hotel's bar and restaurant are terrific. The rooms were nice, clean, and the beds were comfortable. I will look forward to returning again to this hotel.

  • I've stayed in worse places but expected better

    The folks at the front desk were welcoming and nice. The room was large and looked recently renovated. I was pleased with that. Cleanliness was a problem, though. There couldn't have been more hair if it was a barber shop. On the floor, in the bathroom, in the sheets of both beds. I questioned if the room had been changed over. It certainly wasn't well-done, if so. We stayed Dedication Day weekend, however, we stayed on Friday, before the crush of Saturday night before the main events. Even if busy, you pay a decent amount for the room and clean is a must in a hotel. If I had just walked into the hotel and didn't stay to see the hair, I would have wanted to stay. It is nicely decorated and welcoming. I hope we hit it on an off day because I want to love it!
