The Governor boasts 22,000 square feet of elegant function space. Modeled after interiors in Italian palaces, each of the hotel’s 13 distinctive meeting rooms offers ceiling heights of almost 20 feet, windows that open to fresh northwest air, and high-speed wireless Internet access. The hotel can accommodate groups of ten to 700. The long, opulent Renaissance Room is a favorite venue for wedding receptions, as is the Grand Ballroom. Jake’s Catering, owned by McCormick & Schmick’s, handles banquet and catering needs with care and flair. Following the 2004 hotel renovation, the hotel unveiled the Heritage Ballroom which had been closed to the public for 80 years. With 7,500 square feet and 35 foot ceilings, the Heritage Ballroom offers banquet space unrivaled in the region for up to 700 people.
