The Grande Colonial’s picturesque seaside setting and exclusive ambiance make it an ideal destination for business travelers to San Diego. Seemingly worlds away, our business guests are just minutes from Scripps Institute, the University of California San Diego, and the La Jolla, Sorrento Valley and Golden Triangle business areas. Downtown San Diego, the San Diego Convention Center and San Diego International Airport are a short 15-minute drive.
In addition to offering 75 guest rooms and suites in the hotel’s main building, the Grande Colonial also offers 18 luxury suites in two adjacent wings. Each of the 18 suites, catering to the business traveler and long-term stay traveler, reflects a more residential feel with full kitchens or kitchenettes and separate sleeping and living areas. Select suites also feature fireplaces, oversized soaking tubs and showers with adjustable body jets and oversized rain shower-heads. The suites are located in two adjacent wings, one with 10 suites and one with 8 suites. Both wings are available for corporate buy-outs and executive board retreats.
ADSL wired and wireless high-speed Internet connectivity is available in each guest room and suite, all meeting space and all public areas throughout the hotel including the restaurant, bar and pool area.
