  • Location, location, location..

Located in the heart of the Cambridge biotech area and next to the M.I.T. campus. This is a great place to do business. Good sized rooms, free WiFi,, breakfast included, private dining and lounge facilities. Friendly staffOnly one drawback...no exercise room (you have a bit of hike to facility nearby).

  • A New Standard

I stayed two nights and miss it already. Mark, the manager, was very friendly, helpful and engaging. The rooms were incredibly unique, cozy, and comfortable. The breakfast spread was off the chain with so many options and they were all delicious. It's walking distance from so many restaurants and it's not far from sidewalks which lead to running paths up and down the Charles river. Don't miss a chance to stay there when you are in Cambridge.

  • Charming and delightful

We had a wonderful stay at the Kendall Hotel for 2 weeks in January. They took such good care of us, it felt like home, only better! The breakfast was excellent, with lots of options, and the evening wine hour was a lovely way to end the day. It was so convenient to many things in Cambridge, especially the T station. The atmosphere was cute and cozy, with themed decorations even in the stairwell! I especially loved the fireplace in the lobby, where I spent many evenings looking out at the snow falling in Cambridge. They also did an excellent job of taking care of us when a blizzard hit, making sure there were staff and the restaurant was open for guests. I can highly recommend this hotel, and we will be back!

  • Most comfortable hotel ever

Look, I'd be lying if I said this was as luxurious as a Fairmont... but sometimes you don't want luxury, just comfort! This was literally a home away from home. The amenities were phenomenal (free treats, full breakfast, coffee, cozy atmosphere) and everything was immaculate, but more than that... this was the BEST night's sleep I have had in years (actual years - no exaggeration)... so much so that I'm planning to replicate their bedding set up in my own home (which requires replacing new, premium bedding that just couldn't hold a candle to the Kendall's). Everyone there was really nice and accommodating; the location was excellent. About the only downside was the tight parking, but given the location and historical building, it wasn't a surprise. I also found my room near the elevator was a little noisier than I'd like (I could hear people slamming their doors), but my sleep quality was so high, I was disturbed at all overnight. I'd seriously considering flying to Boston just to stay at the Kendall for a mini vacation, and that's saying something. If I could give them 6 stars I would - it was just that nice.

  • Beautiful and comfortable hotel

This hotel is a lovely independent hotel. We like to stay at smaller independent hotel and this fit the bill. The rooms were extremely nice and the bed, though a bit on the soft side, were very comfortable with wonderful linens.
The breakfast, a hot full breakfast buffet, had a lot of things to chose from given the size of the hotel. It was quite good.
One of the other big advantages to this hotel is that it is less than a block from the T making it easy to get around the city.
The staff is always in the back room requiring you to ring a bell for assistance.
