  • Comfort and style

We spent a relaxing weekend at The Martha. The Inn provided everything we needed--a wonderful restaurant for dining, tennis courts, fitness center, and more. The evening port wine service was a nice added touch.

The two double beds were adequate but beginning to feel some wear, however the room and bath were modern and lovely.

Sitting on the porch was a wonderful way to relax and walking downtown to the shops and restaurants made the weekend complete.

Amazing!! My 10 and 13 year old sons and I loved our stay here. Wish we could of had a few more nights. Staff is very accommodating. My guys wanted to play mini golf at night,so they turned the tennis court lights on so we could play. Would definitely recommend at least two nights. One just isn't enough
If you stay on a Sunday and Monday the town is mostly shut down.

  • Understated Elegance

Just returned today from our first stay at "the Martha." The accommodations are clean, updated, and very comfortable. The amenities are amazing: well kept tennis courts, a new trampoline, 18 hole mini golf course, indoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi hot tubs. The pool and hot tubs are open 24/7, which was great for evening relaxation. There was never a crowd anywhere. The staff is incredibly friendly, without being overbearing or in your business. The whole property is well kept. Two in our party booked massages and raved about them. The spa personnel were friendly and very professional, excellent at their craft. We arranged to do the Creeper Trail. The staff loaded bikes and took us directly up to the top, then picked us up and took us back. Although dinner and breakfast at Sisters were both excellent, there are also many local, delicious restaurants from which to choose within walking distance. The Barter Theatre is directly across the street, within a couple minutes walking. Everything was incredibly enjoyable. We will definitely be back.

We only stayed one night but everything was perfect. The weather didn't permit us to play tennis, but we enjoyed sitting in the hot tub during a snow shower. Nicely decorated with period pieces and oil paintings, including an especially nice one over the hearth in the library. Service was seamless.

  • Very nice

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay here. The staff were very friendly and the hotel grounds were beautiful. There were all kinds of out of the way places to sit and read or have a drink. The front porch was also very popular. The location was the best - you could walk to the Barter Theaters and so many restaurants. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern with plenty of hot water. Housekeeping was kind of strange in what they decided to do or leave in your room (one day had about 5 shampoo/conditioners but no extra toilet paper and no clean glasses) but overall it was a lovely stay. It was also fun having an 18 hole mini golf course to play on the grounds ($1.00 token for each ball) and an easy walk to the town Farmers Market twice a week.
