Signature Banana Nut Bread at The Mayflower Hotel
The Mayflower Hotel has been making banana bread since the 1950s and it has become one of the hotel’s signature items, used as a turn down amenity, served in the hotel’s restaurant Edgar, and even as a dessert at many weddings held in the hotel. Fun fact: The Mayflower Hotel uses over 20,000 bananas each year to bake over 10,000 loaves of banana bread.
