The Mimslyn Inn

Overview
The classic Georgian Revival architecture of the Mimslyn Inn rises gracefully from the rolling hills of the Shenandoah Valley. The warmth and charm of the Mimslyn have been welcoming guests since 1931. The inn is in close proximity to all of the area’s signature attractions, including the spectacular Luray Caverns. Purchased in 2005 by the Asam family, the Mimslyn has undergone an intensive, year-long renovation. Public spaces and guest rooms have been carefully refurbished and the full-service Seasons Spa has been added. Recently reopened, the Mimslyn Inn once again stands as one of the Shenandoah’s finest guest experiences.
The site of the inn was once home to an army encampment and a previous building housed a Civil War hospital.
