  • one of the gems

I love the atmosphere and the charming of the hotel. the hotel has a parking charge for 10$ per night. All decorations and friendly staff made me feel warmth and so welcomed. The reception was not open at the time we check in but then we realized the time change! ha!
However, the breakfast providing at the hotel nearby was quite a bit small and disappointed. We went to the bar where we went to have a breakfast in the next morning, atmosphere was right but it was not the right music!

  • Very Nice But Book Reservations above Second Floor

by DuranMcNeal on 2017-09-29 07:40 am

Very nice accommodations but I would recommend reservations above second floor due to loud activities from 1st floor activities (Dining and Entertainment) until 11PM nightly. The layout and elegance of the hotel is very charming and beautiful. Very nice layout and design. Room was very nice and high quality.

  • Charming

The Montvale is a charming hotel in downtown Spokane. Our room was spacious and had all of the necessary amenities. Coffee and tea are always available and a very light complimentary continental breakfast is located down the block. I chose this hotel for its location. It is close to many craft breweries and we were able to walk to a few to have dinner and taste beer. The neighborhood is a little rundown, but it appears to be improving. There are restaurants, shopping and movies all within walking distance. I would stay here again. The hotel has a lot more character than the box hotel chains.

  • Vintage hotel retaining charm.

We had the Presidential Suite in the Montvale Hotel. We loved our stay and were super happy with our accommodations. I highly recommend getting the Presidential suite if possible. I love when classic hotels like these are renovated and still in use today. I would stay here again if in the area. Continental breakfast is served at their sister hotel one block away east at the Ruby 2.

  • Great historic place to stay

Stayed 4 nights. Very quiet; Very clean. Staff friendly. Loved it. I would stay there again. Lots of history and right downtown so near great restaurants and stores. Loved the coffee bar and bed was very comfortable.
