The Nittany Lion Inn offers a variety of rooms to accommodate a wide range of meetings and special events. The atrium is a good choice for sky-lit informal meetings, bringing the Whiskers courtyard indoors, while the ballroom can accommodate up to 500 guests or be divided into three, four or five smaller meeting rooms. It is also a good choice for weddings. The Board Room, named for the Penn State Board of Trustees, is designed for executive meetings. The Alumni Fireside Lounge offers the warmth and informality of fireside meetings in comfortable club chairs.
Other options include the Faculty Staff Club; a cozy alternative for both formal and informal meetings. It combines warmth and function with an atmosphere for receptions and/or dinners seating up to 100 people. The Mount Nittany Club room’s panoramic views and 40-foot high windows provide a bird’s-eye view of distant Mount Nittany and surrounding landscape. The club and two lounges at Beaver Stadium are ideal for corporate parties, receptions, awards ceremonies and private functions. The Penn State Room is an unusual room, in that its walls are hand-painted historic scenes of Penn State.
Whiskers, a casual pub, features a cathedral ceiling primarily constructed from Pennsylvania cherry wood. Whiskers blend old-fashioned elegance with rustic charm. An outside garden patio and full menu make Whiskers a good meeting space for colleagues.
