  • Fabulous dining room!

    by Rangerk1 on 2018-06-22 05:08 am

The dining room is open even if you are not staying there., We came for lunch and it was the best meal of our stay in Asheville! I had the Lobster Cobb Salad and my husband ordered the trout. We sat on the terrace and enjoyed the view. Perfect weather. The hotel was designed to look rather like the hotel in Yellowstone or Yosemite Parks. Hugh! Lots of walking! But worth the visit to see it!

  • Relaxing hotel with outstanding view of mountains.

Five star property with excellent restaurants along with shops which offer first class service. Golf course located on property with challenging layout. Very close to downtown Asheville so you have multiple options for dining and entertainment.
Great place to unwind and relax.

  • Restful retreat

We had the privilege of staying at the Omni Grove Park recently as we were passing through Asheville, NC. What an incredible experience. The rooms, whether a historic one from 1913 or the newer modern addition one each provided the best sleep ever as well as beautiful Mountain View's, fabulous food with impeccable service, and so many amenities with the poll, the spa and even specialty shops. It is a total experience with no reason to leave the resort for anything. It is an inn I could stay in for a month and be completely content. Even if you don't stay overnight, the Grsnd Lobby and restaurants make it worth the stop.

  • Hotel experience is great...rooms are tired

    by terrycarlson2018 on 2018-06-19 03:15 pm

We have stayed at this hotel several times ... we love the hotel as a property..the lobby, the bars, the restaurants, THE VIEWS....the annual Gingerbread Contest. The bounces are amazing. I think they must get pounded with people...we have stayed in many different rooms...they are definitely tired, and used so much that the drapes, upholstery, carpeting and bedding just don't feel clean. The service in this hotel is great...they just need to get on top of the rooms...

  • Must see!

This amazing 1913 hotel allows you to go on a free, self-guided tour and gives you an information sheet explaining each room, furnishings and history of this beautiful landmark. The structure is unbelievable, with a view that gets those cameras clicking away. Many famous people were guests, as well as 8 Presidents. There are numerous rocking chairs situated around where you can sit & appreciate the mountain views. There is also a film explaining the history of the hotel, along with a video of George Masa, the photographer who took many famous photos of the mountains.
