  • Lovely Hotel

by BHoboken on 2018-06-20 12:22 am

What an absolutely love hotel that still holds on to it's old time charm. My room was fabulous, probably the best nights sleep of my whole trip - I really need to buy those pillows (care to tell me where I can get them?). I really enjoyed the configuration of the bathroom and felt truly at home.
The gym was nice and the concierge was great, especially Helga. She gave me some wonderful information and never seemed to mind my plethora of questions.
The lounge was lovely the Tuesday night I was there, when I went back again the next night I left disgusted after having such a rude waitress. Specifically stated "how would I know, it's not my job" when asked a question about the menu. I was shocked because the service at the hotel is impeccable.
The location is great. An easy walk to the waterfront, Milwaukee Public Market and to Old 3rd Street. Really cannot be beat.

  • What a place, what a great memory!

    by cag16 on 2018-06-19 02:34 am

Checking into the Pfister, the entire staff was courteous, extremely helpful, and just very friendly. I had called previously to let them know it was our Wedding Anniversary; a special floral arrangement was right there in the room, to greet us! The entire facility was spacious, comforting, and QUIET!
An old world place, as you walk around, there are reminders of past events, of historical significance, and outstanding works of art, on the walls! Even an expensive book of history, about the Pfister Hotel, all the way back to it's being built, is in the room!
Old world charm, new, modern facilities, unbelievable Sunday Brunch; we will return!

  • Historical, wonderful stay

    by Leslie B on 2018-06-18 11:56 am

The Pfister is an old hotel on the outside but it is so beautiful on the inside. Although when I am on the 7th Floor I usually always take the wrong elevator to get to the rooms (one elevator only takes you to the parking garage).
This last visit I was lucky enough to stay in a small suite and it was heavenly, although a waste of space for my stay.
We had a working meeting and the staff was incredible and very responsive. It was nice to be able to stay in the same place as your meeting.
Wished I had time this visit to see the Artist in Residence, which is always a cool thing to experience.

Thanks Leslie, for taking the time to leave your valued feedback with us! We appreciate your kind words! I'm glad to hear the staff was pleasant and accommodating! It sounds like your stay was enjoyable! If you get a second chance, our Artist's Studio is always available to the public. Currently, Stephanie Schultz has been selected as the hotel's Artist in Residence. Right now the program is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the Milwaukee-area fashion designer and she will work in the hotel's lobby-level Artist's Studio until the end of the year. Hopefully you'll have time to see her work! We look forward to welcoming you back to our hotel soon!

  • Lakefront, historical buildings, baseball...

    by smurph13 on 2018-06-18 06:44 am

This is a beautiful, historic hotel. We stayed in the older section and were pleasantly surprised by how well updated the bathroom was along with things like wi-fi access and refrigerator. The beds were quite comfortable, too.
We were only there for one night, so did not get to take advantage of many amenities.
Location is pretty centrally located to downtown and close to the lakefront.
Certainly a $plurge, but worth the "treat" for a special occasion.

  • Beautiful old hotel

    by Lisa R on 2018-06-17 04:50 pm

We only came to the Pfister because we heard the Blu bar had the best view in the city. It was beautiful! Bar was closed on that night but an employee let us in to see it. Lobby was gorgeous. We intended to have dinner here but it wasn't open. Pfister is in a convenient downtown location
