  • Beautiful Stay for a Wedding Weekend

    by Kelly M on 2017-10-19 07:13 am

Stayed here with a large group for a wedding weekend. Hotel was gorgeous. Pleasantly surprised when we arrived VERY early for check-in and the room was ready with no issues at all. Staff was so friendly in all the outlets we used-the Bar, the Cafe and the Spa where we got our hair done prior to the wedding (which came out great!). Really relaxing stay!

  • Ist Class Experience

Very comfortable, well appointed room. Clean Staff very friendly and helpful. Good facilities like pool and spa. Restaurants and lounge area on lobby floor were efficient and food and drinks were good. Valet parking a bit pricey but efficient
Excellent downtown between River and Lake. Great artwork in lobby and rooms.

  • First class!

Very friendly staff, beautiful lobby and suites! A must if you are visiting Milwaukee! Actually, this hotel is a must for anyone who likes historic places. It has been around since 1893 and after almost being demolished in the mid 1900's, it was purchased by (I can't remember his name!) and repaired to its original charm and more! Many us presidents have stayed there as well as singers, actors and other dignitaries! Beautiful place to have a reception as well.

  • Conference

    by Don F on 2017-10-17 03:44 pm

This is the 5th (fifth) year in a row that I've stayed at the Pfister hotel for an annual conference - and I do hope the conference continues to be held at the Pfister! The hotel is very much a classic. It has an old and new section with all the latest amenities and the available eateries are great!

The rooms are VERY nice and have all the amenities. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms spacious. Room-to-room noises weren't noticed during my visits. The doors are a bit loud when allowed to slam shut; take care to close the doors and that won't be a problem.

There's a club on the 23rd floor; the lobby bar has a piano player keying out jazz tunes. In short, you don't feel at all out of place dressed down or in a tuxedo. The Mason Street grill has outstanding steaks and seafood.

The conference area (7th floor) is perfectly sized for these events. Dining or Work, the Pfister is the place to be.

Give the Pfister a try! I think you'll dig it. I did!

  • A Classic

We spent a Friday and Saturday night at the Pfister. It is a historic, classic hotel. Entering the lobby, one can feel the history in the lobby. From the valet who parked my car to the front desk clerk, we were greeted by smiles and people who like their jobs. Our room was large and nicely appointed. And, it was exactly what we reserved. Drinks at the lobby bar were full and made by a competent bar tender. It was a relaxing weekend and we will be back!
